On Friday and Saturday, June 5 and 6, 2026, in Srpski Itebej, the municipality of Sečanj organized a medical seminar on the topic “Reducing the risk of the most common diseases and timely detection for successful treatment”, with the aim of improving the capacities of health workers and improving the quality and efficiency of primary health care in the cross-border region.
The lecturers were prominent specialists in the fields of colon, prostate and lung cancer, diabetes prevention and nutrition of patients, as well as psychological support for the most seriously ill patients, and the seminar was attended by over 35 health workers from the region.
